I grew up in Rye, NY sailing on Long Island Sound and now live in South Jersey and sail off of Long Beach Island.  Some of my artwork has been made aboard our sailboat as we cruise the northeast. I am a fiber artist, choosing to use cloth as my canvas, acrylics as my paint, and stitches to give my compositions extra texture. My work is in the permanent collections of Musee ArtColle, Sergines, France, Museo de Collage, Morelos, Mexico, Sharjah Art Musuem, Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, Museo de la Cultura, Valencia, Venezuela, and the San Jose Musuem of Quilts and Textiles , San Jose, California.

In the Archaeology Series the viewer has to look carefully between the layers and the obscuring of the quilting to discern what the images are. The imagery is diverse and layered as life experiences are laid one upon another.  As the images are built up on the cloth, changes occur to how the shapes relate to one another.  A single image that may represent a moment in time is mutated by the images that are layered upon it.
